What can I expect?
Are you studying Games Engineering, Programming, Art, Writing, Game Design, or Sound Design — or do you already have a degree or training in one of these fields? Then come to our next SemesterGameJam and develop your own game! Whether you already have a team or want to meet new people during the event.
At the start of the GameJam, the theme is announced. Teams then form and have 42 hours to develop a game. During the event, we provide catering and additional activities. Finally, all teams present their games and rate each other.

Expert Day (06.04.)
Expand your horizons on this day through exciting expert talks and workshops. This year, the Expert Day will take place for the first time on Discord, the day before the GameJam. Everyone is warmly invited to join us on our Discord Server and stop by. Registrations for the Expert Day are independent of participation in the GameJam.Day 1 (06.05.)
The event starts at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:00 PM). After check-in and badge distribution, the opening follows, during which we announce the theme. After the brainstorming phase, teams form and begin developing their game.Day 2 (06.06.)
Now you have 42 hours to let your creativity run wild. In the meantime, we offer catering and activities to relax. More details will follow during the event.Day 3 (06.07.)
On Sunday, the 42-hour development phase comes to an end. Similar to a Demo Day, each team sets up a booth with their game and presents it to the other participants. On this day, friends, family, and all interested visitors are also warmly invited to try out the games. Finally, the teams rate each other. The event concludes at around 4:00 PM with the award ceremony.
